Hello my friends and loyal subscribers. I’m so sorry it has been so long. As you may have seen, I have been quite busy. I am also working on some secret projects behind the scenes right now that are taking up a lot of time, so writing this newsletter hasn’t been easy to find time to do.
But I have some now, and what better way to do it than to put the power in your hands. Looking for some mailbag questions please, just drop what’s on your mind in the replies here and I’ll get to as many as I can. It’s been a wild first half of the season and we have lots to discuss!
See you soon!
Will curling journalism ever get to the point where legitimate outlets/journalists report information that the players do not want public? In other sports, roster changes like Gushue and Dunstone have made would elicit articles that go beyond rehashing team press releases. Is this possible in curling or are the media members too close to the players and the teams too small and tight-knit for there to be any “leaks”?
I think the GSOC broadcast deal with Sportsnet in Canada is up after this season? How do you see people in Canada being able to access GSOC games in the coming year? If you can say.
